Zubra started in blockchain in 2017, not as observers but as operators. We set up nodes, ran validators on our own hardware, and learned what it takes to keep mission-critical infrastructure running without interruption.
That experience shaped how we think about technology. We run our own servers because it is the only way to maintain the control and accountability our clients require.
Today, Zubra operates dedicated servers in private datacenter facilities in Ljubljana and Zagreb. We host applications, run blockchain infrastructure, deploy AI systems, and build custom software from a single accountable team with hardware we own and control. For clients with specific jurisdiction requirements, we can also provision dedicated servers in other EU countries including Austria, Switzerland, and Romania.
Incorporated in Ljubljana as Zubra d.o.o., Zubra is a focused team of engineers and operators. We are a small company by design. Deep expertise and direct accountability matter more to us than scale for its own sake.
Entered the blockchain space as operators, running validator nodes and staking infrastructure on our own hardware from the start no cloud dependency.
Grew validator operations across Ethereum, Cosmos, Polkadot, Solana, and additional proof-of-stake networks. Accumulated significant staked assets under management.
Formalised our infrastructure footprint with dedicated colocation in Ljubljana. Expanded capacity and began offering hosting and infrastructure services to external clients.
Extended capabilities to cover custom software development and managed application hosting, applying the same reliability standards to client workloads.
Added private permissioned blockchain as a managed service. Deployed and operate a full enterprise blockchain stack for a client, including backups, security monitoring, upgrades, and block explorers.
Launched private GPU infrastructure for AI inference and fine-tuning. Established the Zubra VC arm: infrastructure-backed investment for Web3, AI, and deep tech founders.
